Freemium version of suspension logic

In the free version of Xoda, the suspension logic is simple. Scheduled payments will be skipped during the suspension period. There is no calculation and fees applied for any pro rata difference when the suspension periods do not align with the payment cycle dates schedueld.

Suspension pro rata logic

The suspension pro rata fee is a paid feature for businesses paying for a Xoda subscription. Our suspension pro rata logic works on the basis of 7 days per week and the daily fee is calculated based on the plan price divided by how many days in a payment term. For a weekly plan, the daily fee = weekly price / 7.For a fortnightly plan, the daily fee = fortnightly price / 14.For a monthly plan, the daily fee = monthly price * 12 / 365.For each suspension period, we look at how many days the business owes the member (typically at the start of the suspension period) and how many days the member owes the business (typically at the end of the suspension period). We then apply the final difference to the first payment back from suspension which could be a credit to deduct or an extra fee to add on top of the normal plan fee.
