This feature is useful to Personal Trainers (PTs) who wish to book members without having to sell the members pre-paid Packs or Plans. In many PT businesses, a common practise is to book members into PT sessions then charge them for the advanced (borrowed) credits at the classroom door.

This feature is NOT applicable to Group Classes.
  1. Pre-requisite: In the staff web portal (desktop), go to Settings/Services page, the gym staff can find a Personal Training service then define the (advanced) credit price.
  2. For a chosen PT Session, use the Books members with advanced credit to book a member without any pre-purchased credits.

  3. Go to the Personal Info tab in Member Profile, verify the unpaid session is listed on the page.

  4. Go to Schedule page and find the session, verify the session cannot be marked as completed. A warning message should be displayed.

  5. Go the POS page and select Credit, verify all PT sessions are listed in the next selector and all members can be found in the POS page including active and drop outs.

  6. Only allow the right credit to be bought: If the staff tries purchase 2 credits of the corresponding PT session for the member, such purchase is not allowed with a warning message displayed.

  7. If the above the step is repeated with the quantity reduced to 1, the staff can redo the purchase for the member. The purchase will now be successful.

  8. Go to the Personal Info tab in Member Profile, the staff should now see the unpaid session is cleared after payment has been made.

  9. Go to the Schedule page and find the PT session, the staff can then mark the session as completed.

  10. Go to Settings->Services page and find the PT session

  11. The staff can also edit the credit fee and press save.

  12. Go the Pos page and select Credit then the PT session, the staff can verify the new price is loaded.
